1. Acceptance

By downloading or using OwnPod ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OwnPod is an AI-powered podcast application that generates personalized audio briefings from content sources you select. The App is operated by Martin Zokov ("we", "us", or "our").

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use OwnPod. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ownpod.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

OwnPod offers an auto-renewing subscription ("OwnPod Premium"). The subscription price and billing period are shown in the App before purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.
• Redistribute or resell generated podcast content commercially without our written consent.

7. AI-Generated Content

Podcast episodes are generated by artificial intelligence from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of generated content. AI-generated content may contain errors. Do not rely on it for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions.

8. Third-Party Content

OwnPod summarizes content from third-party sources based on your preferences. We do not own or control those sources. All original content remains the property of its respective owners. If you believe we have processed content in violation of applicable copyright law, contact us at support@ownpod.app.

9. Intellectual Property

The OwnPod application, branding, and infrastructure are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any App component.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
